This Web site is devoted to study, discussion, and dissemination of information about induced after-death communications (IADC®s) and other issues connected with grief therapy, continuing bonds, the afterlife, near-death experiences, and the greater reality.
The author, R. C. Hogan, Ph.D., is co-author with Allan Botkin, Psy.D. of the book, Induced After-Death Communication: A New Therapy for Grief and Trauma (Hampton Roads, 2005) that explains the grief therapy method Dr. Botkin discovered that enables anyone to have after-death communication with a deceased loved one.
Dr. Botkin wants to make it clear that he is a grief therapist and does not suggest or endorse anything spiritual about his grief therapy practice. His therapy method heals grief. That is the sole reason he uses it in his practice.
I, R. C. Hogan, on the other hand, have no doubt about the facts that consciousness survives death, people are One with each other, and love is the underlying force that pervades the Universe. I am confident, as are most experiencers, that induced after-death communication events are genuine contacts with the deceased loved one. I invite you to visit my Web sites at http://greaterreality.com and http://adcguides.com for more about the greater reality and afterlife.
This is an open site for discussion of all points of view about spiritual issues and after-death communication without regard for religious, spiritual, or philosophical belief systems.

Dr. Al Botkin, owner of the Center for Grief and Traumatic Loss in Lincolnshire, Illinois, found that when he used a special form of psychotherapy called eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), his patients experienced after-death communications while sitting in his office. The experience healed their grief, usually in one session. Dr. Botkin and Dr. Hogan, author of this Web site, wrote the book Induced After-Death Communication: A New Therapy for Healing Grief and Trauma, describing the process and presenting 84 case studies. The procedure has now been performed with thousands of patients by a number of psychotherapists.
Using EMDR, the therapist is able to bring the person to an open, receptive state where communication with a loved one who has passed away occurs in at least 70 percent of the cases. The communication is real and healing. The experiencer's grief immediately resolves itself and the person most often has the conviction that the afterlife is as real as the material world. It often results in changes in outlook that profoundly affect the person's life.
The case studies in the book will help the many EMDR psychotherapists who have observed their patients experiencing such events understand them better. They are consistent phenomena that require their own classification; they are not aberrations or hallucinations. They happen very commonly and patients describe them using remarkably consistent words that describe strikingly similar experiences--they are real, distinct phenomena.
This remarkable discovery has the potential to change humankind's spiritual perspective and make us as a species more loving, compassionate, peaceful, and blissful, while healing the person's grief quickly and completely.

The power of core-focused EMDR therapy and induced after-death communication therapy discovered by Dr. Al Botkin will enable people to explore areas of their inner selves and understand others as has never been possible before. It will lead to remarkable developments. Anything is possible, so we encourage you to be creative. Contact me at rchogan@induced-adc.com to share your ideas. We'll try to put people together to make things happen.

Clinics for grief therapy in towns and cities around the world are staffed by EMDR therapists who are able to induce after-death communication experiences. The clinics also have open group sessions to which anyone in grief is invited. People who have experienced after-death communication attend as wise souls whose experiences will inspire others. In the group sessions, those in grief hear people who have experienced spontaneous after-death communication or induced after-death communication talk about the experiences and their feeling of love, comfort, loss of fear of death, and being forgiven or having forgiven. Their fervent conviction about the reality of the communication, their diminished grief, and enthusiastic joy from the experience inspire grieving people who attend the group sessions. The survivors learn how to establish new relationships with their deceased loved ones based on love, unbroken ties, and confidence in the future.
Eventually, a different view of life and existence begins to shape society and the world. A Renaissance begins.
If you are interested in setting up such a clinic or funding establishment of a clinic, contact me at rchogan@induced-adc.com.

IADC® experiencers share their experiences in publications that people anywhere in the world can read. Documentaries describe what they have learned and how the experience has changed them. As thousands of people in a city have the experience and share their stories, lives and eventually normal social and business interactions are changed. As millions around the world have the experience, humankind is changed.

Executives from several large companies attend a retreat where they have induced ADC experiences. They talk openly about their experiences, then discuss about business, employees, customers, and families with their new understanding of themselves and others. They go back to their companies changed men and women, who run their companies differently.

Hardened criminals in prison have regular visits with a spiritual counselor who induces ADCs with loved ones and even people they harmed or killed. The counselor talks with them about what they have learned. The prisoners have group sessions in which they compare what has happened to them, their new view of life and humankind, and what they want to do to live their lives differently.

|
Gang leaders come together for a week-long retreat in which they meet with a counselor to undergo induced ADCs. They experience deceased gang members who have been killed in violence, talking about their lives and the lives of the gang member experiencing the IADC®. They come together for group sessions in which they share what they're learning and how they might be able to make their lives and their neighborhoods different.

Impossible? Not at all. It will happen because of the remarkable insights that are coming from this new therapy. If you are interested in helping to set up a grief-therapy clinic using EMDR and induced after-death communication therapy, contact me at rchogan@induced-adc.com so I can let you know about others who are interested in doing so.

Transpersonal Experiences Psychotherapists Have Witnessed
|
|
|
|
Now that psychotherapists are reading about our book and getting on these Web sites, I am beginning to hear from psychotherapists about transpersonal experiences, including after-death communication, they and their patients have had. Most of these trained professionals haven't felt at liberty to discuss with their colleagues what happened, so the number who have had such experiences isn't known. I suspect it is quite large. This Web site will provide a place where all can discuss these transpersonal events. If we can eventually develop a confidential forum in which everyone can openly discuss these events, it will benefit you, other psychotherapists who have had similar experiences, the discipline of psychology, and all of humankind.
Start by contacting me, in confidence, at rchogan@induced-adc.com describing your experience. If you would prefer to call, you can call me at the induced-adc.com toll free number, 800 827-3770.

Encouraging Patients to Share Their Experiences
|
|
|
|
I would like to encourage psychotherapists to have their patients who have had transpersonal experiences visit the forum for experiencers on this Web site where they can read about others' experiences. They can log on anonymously and keep their identity secret. Reading about others' experiences will help them frame what happened to them. On the forum, they can also share their stories. Their accounts will help others who have had similar experiences and are sorting out what happened.
Because of their experiences, anyone who has been touched by a transpersonal experience has a story that could affect others' lives. What they have learned and what they have experienced should not be hidden when it could benefit a suffering humankind.
All correspondence on this Web site will be kept in strictest confidence and nothing will be put on the Web site or published without permission and review by the psychotherapist or experiencer.
